- Dan Ige is a minor -125 favorite over Chan Sung Jung (Korean Zombie) in the main event.
- Aleksei Oleinik is a +185 betting underdog against Sergey Spivak in the co-main.
- Marlon “Chito” Vera has -200 odds to beat Davey Grant and Matt Brown is a +140 underdog against Dhiego Lima.
LAS VEGAS – Saturday’s UFC Fight Night: Korean Zombie vs Ige has an interesting slate of fights. More so, the card has a handful of enticing betting odds that can give bettors a hefty payday.
Dan Ige and the Korean Zombie will face off as the main event of Saturday’s UFC card.
The odds project a close fight, but that may not be the case given the fighter’s previous performances.
Ige vs Zombie Moneyline Odds
- Dan Ige -125
- Korean Zombie +105
Ige went on a great run of beating Kevin Aguilar, Mirsad Bektic and Edson Barboza before losing to Calvin Kattar. He did beat Gavin Tucker in his most recent fight by first-round knockout. Korean Zombie since making his return to the UFC, has had a couple of ups and downs.
Jung beat Dennis Bermudez, lost to Yair Rodriguez, beat Renato Moicano and Frankie Edgar and then last to Brian Ortega in his last fight. Essentially, he beats the lesser opponents and loses to the top-level fighters.
There’s a reason for concern for Jung from his loss to Ortega. Ortega is a Jiu-Jitsu artist while Jung is a credentialed striker, but Ortega was able to put on a striking clinic. Ige is a well-rounded fighter and could be able to pick Zombie apart the same way Ortega did.
Aleksei Oleinik vs Segery Spivak: The Co-Main
Aleskei Oleinik is a staple to the MMA scene. The man has 74 professional fights, 59 wins and 46 submissions. He is however 43 years old and on a two-fight losing streak.

Spivak is 17 years younger and is 3-2 in his UFC career.
Looking at Oleinik’s recent fights, he gets knocked out by power punchers (Alistair Overeem, Walt Harris, Derrick Lewis, Chris Daukaus) and beaten the wrestlers/submission artists (Mo Greene, Fabricio Werdum).
Spivak is a relatively well-rounded fighter for a heavyweight but does like to use his wrestling to set things up. Because of this online sportsbooks may have the wrong fighter listed as the favorite.
Oleinik vs Spivak Betting Odds
- Aleksei Oleinik +185
- Sergey Spivak -230
Marlon Vera vs Davey Grant
These two fought back in 2016 and Davey Grant saw his hand raised. However, there’s a fair argument to be made that Vera has become a much better fighter while Grant has, more or less, leveled off. Chito Vera made waves in the MMA community by beating Sean O’Malley, but came back down to earth with a convincing loss to Jose Aldo.
Grant has yet to face another fighter at Vera’s level since the 2016 meeting and could be overwhelmed with such a step up in competition. UFC bettors should feel confident in betting on Vera to win this fight.
Vera vs Grant Betting Odds
- Marlon Vera -200
- Davey Grant +160
Other Notable Fighting Odds
These are the three biggest fights of the night, but there are a couple of betting opportunities elsewhere on the card that carry some value.
- Dhiego Lima (-175) vs Matt Brown (+140)
- Virna Jandiroba (-140) vs Kanako Murata (+115)
- Khaos Williams (-155) vs Matthew Semelsberger (+130)
