MELBOURNE - The Australian Open is just a few days in and there have already been some major upsets that have resulted in serious odds movement.
Men’s Odds Changes
The men’s side still has many of the top options in the field but online sportsbooks have seen some shifts in odds regardless. Notably, there are a few options that remain overwhelming favorites.

Daniil Medvedev’s odds haven’t changed a bit, remaining still at +135. Alexander Zverev has seen his odds remain largely unchanged as well, but Rafael Nadal has had his odds drop from +900 to +325.
The only one of the pre-tournament top eight options to be eliminated is Carlos Alcaraz Garfia which has resulted in just a few shifts up top, but players like Gael Monfils have seen their odds shorten drastically. Monfils was a +12500 longshot and is now sitting at just +2500. He still has long odds, but much shorter than what they once were.

Women’s Odds Changes
The women’s Australian Open bracket has been chaotic. Three of the pre-tournament top-five betting options have already been eliminated in Naomi Osaka, Garbine Muguruza and Anett Kontaveit. As a result tennis betting sites have changed some odds drastically.
