JUNO BEACH, Fla. – As the lockdown continues to shutout the sports world, four golfers have come together for a special event to save the masses from this eternal sports drought. Online sportsbooks have pounced on the opportunity and have listed plenty of prop bets for the TaylorMade Driving Relief.
The TaylorMade Driving Relief supported by UnitedHealth Group skins match takes place on Sunday at the historic Seminole Golf Club in South Florida.
World No. 1 Rory McIlroy and Dustin Johnson will join forces against former Oklahoma State University golfers Rickie Fowler and Matt Wolf in a team skins match across a full 18 holes.
In this format, each player will play his own ball, with the lowest score in the team being the counting mark for each hole. This means that if McIlroy were to birdie a hole, and the other 3 golfers were to par, the team of McIlroy and Johnson would win the hole.
Odds for the TaylorMade Driving Relief have been available to bet on, with McIlroy and Johnson staying as the slight favorites since online sportsbooks first released odds for the event.

As far as the charity purse goes, each hole has a certain amount of cash affixed to it. The first six holes will all be worth $50,000 each, with the following 10 holes worth $100,000. This leaves 17 and 18, which are worth $200,000 and $500,000 respectively.
There is also an added stipulation, via Golf Digest:
"If the 18th hole is tied, players will return to the 17th hole and play from 125 yards. If that is also tied, the skin will be decided by a closest-to-the-pin competition from the same 125-yard distance on the 17th. If regulation play ends after 5:45 p.m. and it’s tied, only the closest-to-the-pin competition will be employed to ensure the event finishes before dark."
Even more money will be awarded for low scores, with players earning an extra $25,000 per birdie, $50,000 per eagle, and a $150,000 bonus for a double eagle or hole-in-one.
Overall, the event will be sure to satisfy fans and bettors alike who are desperately missing the game of golf, sports, and sports betting in general.
Live match coverage begins at 2 p.m. EST and will continue all day throughout the event.
