Passing Prop Bets Bring Best Russell Wilson Lines

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks will face the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday as a part of the late afternoon kickoff slate. The 49ers are currently 3-point favorites with a 52 point total.

Seattle’s moneyline odds sit at +130 while San Francisco’s moneyline is currently -150.

Betting On Russell Wilson

Wilson’s passing yardage total is set with an O/U of 262.5 yards by online sportsbooks (both sides have -114 odds). Last week against the Titans, Wilson easily surpassed his passing yardage prop of 275.5, throwing for 298 yards in the loss.

Wilson has impressed with his ball security (he is tied for the fewest interceptions thrown amongst quarterbacks in the NFL and has had zero so far this season), as well as in the touchdown department, tossing seven touchdowns in his first three games. He has thrown two or more passing touchdowns in two of his last three games.

Wilson’s rushing yards total, set at 22.5 yards (over -110, under -118). He has not surpassed 20 yards on the ground in any of his 2021 games after rushing for 513 yards in 2020.

The odds for Wilson to score a rushing (or receiving) touchdown sit at +500. Wilson has not rushed for a touchdown in 2021 and only rushed for two touchdowns in 2020.

Perhaps the most interesting prop bet involving Wilson on Sunday is a special offer from Bovada: Most passing yards among the 4:00 games. Six quarterbacks have odds.

The 49ers have allowed 74 points combined through the first three weeks, including two matchups in which they surrendered 30 or more points. San Francisco has also allowed a total of 744 passing yards to Jared Goff, Jalen Hurts, and Aaron Rodgers in their first three matchups.

With San Francisco’s secondary is one of their weaker points, expect Wilson to be airing the ball out all day; however, it would be somewhat surprising if he bucked the trends and made a significant contribution to the ground game. There are plenty of Russell Wilson prop bets to choose from this week but the passing props in particular have huge potential value.
