LOS ANGELES – The MLB season is in full swing these days and Friday presents another day full of action from across the league.
With every team now heading into what would normally be the second quarter of the season rosters are beginning to take shape and rotations are beginning to come together.
Sports bettors have been enjoying this season so far and look at Friday’s schedule with some appetizing offerings across the board.
Starting with some of the favorites, here are what the experts are listing as their locks for Friday’s games.
MLB – 7:05 p.m ET
- Boston Red Sox +270
- New York Yankees -340
- Over/Under 9
The New York Yankees take on the Boston Red Sox tonight in a matchup that isn’t looking great for the Bean Town squad.
The Yankees will send out ace Gerrit Cole who looks like he has adapted to city life quite nicely.
While the Yanks moneyline isn’t sitting at the best odds, Cole getting the win tonight is one of the strongest plays of the day and would fill out a parlay very nicely.
MLB – 5:05 p.m. ET
- Washington Nationals -170
- Baltimore Orioles +145
- Over/Under 9
The Orioles are one of the most confusing teams in the league this year. Baltimore was swept 4-0 by the Miami Marlins and then went on to win both games against the Nationals and three in a row against the Phillies.
The Orioles appear to have the NL East teams figured out, but that doesn’t mean they will suddenly be able to hit Stephen Strasburg.
Look for the Nationals to get some revenge tonight.
MLB – 7:10 p.m. ET
- Cleveland Indians -200
- Detroit Tigers +170
- Over/Under 8.5
The Tigers are another team that fall into the category of confusion based on their play so far in this unique season. Detroit has a roster without much talent, but has been able to get wins in close games so far.
The Indians however need the win more tonight and boast a lineup with much more star power and hitting strength.
The online sports bet to take Friday is to take Cleveland with Aaron Civale on the mound.

MLB – 8:10 p.m. ET
- Kansas City Royals +165
- Minnesota Twins -190
- Over/Under 10
Both the Twins and the Royals can hit the ball very well, so this matchup will come down to which pitcher can keep the damage under control.
Jake Odorizzi is a solid arm for the Twins, but the edge here comes from Ian Kennedy getting the start for KC.
Kennedy is a closer attempting to convert and will be replacing Jakob Junis on the mound tonight.
Look for the Twins to take advantage and get the win tonight.
MLB – 9:40 p.m. ET
- Los Angeles Dodgers -175
- Los Angeles Angels +150
- Over/Under 9
The Dodgers are great, the world is well aware, but they appear to be extremely in form following an impressive series against the Padres.
Thursday night, Mookie Betts hit three home runs and went 4/4 after taking a pitch in the thigh from Chris Paddock.
It took 813 games for @MookieBetts to tie the record for the most 3-HR games.
The 2nd-fastest did it in 1,598 games. 😱

Couple Betts’ form with the return of Clayton Kershaw, and it is surprising that these baseball betting odds aren’t higher.
Lock in the Dodgers and forget about it.
