He made a record with its release for country music as it was streamed 33.59 million times within the first week of its debut.

Dan + Shay, along with pop star Justin Bieber, are favored to win “Song of the Year” with their collaboration on “10,000 Hours.”

The song launched to the public four days following Bieber’s wedding to Hailey Baldwin, making it even more popular due to the timing and sentiment behind the melody.

In its first week of release, it was streamed 33.3 million times and went Platinum by January 2020.
