Opening at +1200 odds to win DWTS, she now has the second shortest odds at +300 to bring home the Mirror Ball.
Bristowe had one of the highest scores of the night when she was given a 20 out of 30 by judges. With that score, Bristowe has already earned her spot in the next round and should be safe from elimination for now.
The 18-year-old Disney star saw her entertainment odds become shorter to win DWTS season 29 as well.
After posting the highest score of the night with a 21 out of 30 in her first dance, she was good enough to move from +900 to +500. Jackson showed that she can be a force on this show and she’s a dark horse candidate to win the entire contest.
However, Johnny Weir remains the favorite. After his opening night, the ice skater has solidified as the contestant to beat both on the dance floor and at the online sportsbooks.
The next episode of Dancing With the Stars featuring the first elimination will air September 22 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
