Josh Allen, Devin Singletary Lead Bills Playoff Prop Betting 1/16/2021

The Divisional Round matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and the Buffalo Bills is one of the most intriguing.

As two of the youngest star quarterbacks in Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson will be facing off in what could be the start of a new NFL rivalry.

The Bills are favored to win this game over the Ravens by 2.5 points and advance to the franchise's first AFC Championship game since 1993. It’ll take a stellar game from some of the Bills top playmakers to put away a tough Ravens team.

The most important person to the Bills success this year has been quarterback Josh Allen. The Wyoming product has taken the next step in his development setting new career highs in passing yards (4,544), passing touchdowns (37), and completion percentage (69.2%).

Allen being the biggest part of the Bills offense means the opportunity for him to fill the stat sheet in a win or loss is there and bettors should take advantage of this.

The Ravens pass defense finished the season giving up the sixth-fewest yards while the Bills offense threw for the third-most in the NFL. The Titans last week in the Wild Card round showed that the Ravens defense can be attacked through the air especially deep.

The Bills will be without running back Zack Moss in this game leaving a major hole in the team's running game. This is where Josh Allen’s versatility as a runner can be game changing and can also be added into another player prop for the quarterback at  Bovada: Josh Allen to Record at least 42 Rushing Yards (-114)

The Ravens do have the cornerbacks that could derail some of the Bills pass catchers but their heavy blitzing could also open up running lanes for Josh Allen.

Against the Colts, Allen rushed the ball 11 times for 54 yards and a touchdown. The 11 rushing attempts in that game were more than nine rushing attempts Allen had in his last three games combined.

Expect Singletary to be the workhorse back on Saturday with Moss out and despite the Ravens defense bettors should take the -114 odds that he records at least 43 rushing yards. If wanting a better return on Singletary’s odds look no further than the +108 odds for him to record at least 53 rushing yards. The Bills are a heavy passing team but Singletary being the only running back will give him a real chance at notching at least 43 rushing yards.

The Ravens-Bills AFC Divisional Round game will kickoff at 8:15 p.m. EST and will be broadcasted by NBC.
