SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Ice Cube has been dealing with backlash from recent tweets of anti-semitic pictures. Over the last week, the rapper tweeted a cropped picture of a mural – the one that was once on a wall in London’s East End and ultimately removed for being anti-Semitic.

The mural depicted Jewish businessmen playing Monopoly and the board game is being supported on the backs of black men.

The words on the image he tweeted wrote “All we have to do is stand up and their little game is over.”

He also posted an image of the Star of David with a cube in the center.

Ice Cube then shared the image label “BLACK CUBE OF SATURN” with multiple pictures of large black cubes located in Australia, Denmark, Manhattan, and Santa Ana.

Online sportsbooks have posted prop bets on what will come of his controversial tweets.

He has not retracted or deleted his tweets and has actually dispelled the rumors that his account was hacked.

The start of the rapper being very vocal on Twitter came after the killing of George Floyd at the hand of the police which led to police brutality protests around the world.

He has also directed a lot of negative tweets to the President.

Ice Cube has not seemed too worried about Twitter suspending his account because of these tweets and has actually been more active on the platform since the negative responses.

Twitter would have to feel the pictures actually violate the Twitter Rules and it does not seem like he has much to worry about.

Twitter recently added a feature in March that was started to identify tweets that contain information it believes is unsubstantial or false.

These labels come in three categories: misleading information, dispute claims, unverified claims.

Ice Cube quoted his own tweet to state that the claims or pictures are true to him which could probably be used by his team to dispute a “misleading information” claim.
