- Chuba Hubbard is planning on boycotting the 2020-21 college football season.
- Chuba Hubbard's odds to win the Heisman Trophy are at +600.
- Oklahoma State’s odds to win the National Championship are at +5000.
STILLWATER, Okla. — Oklahoma State running back Chuba Hubbard, has made it clear that he will boycott the upcoming college football season until a change is made.
What sparked this boycott was a photo that was tweeted of Oklahoma State’s head coach, Mike Gundy, wearing a One America News Network (OAN) t-shirt.
OAN is considered to be one of the more far-right news networks.
I will not stand for this.. This is completely insensitive to everything going on in society, and it’s unacceptable. I will not be doing anything with Oklahoma State until things CHANGE. https://t.co/psxPn4Khoq

Hubbard’s Impact On OK State’s Betting Odds
For reference on just how good Chuba Hubbard is, online sportsbooks currently have Hubbard’s odds at fifth (+650) to walk away as the Heisman Trophy Winner.
Hubbard is coming off of a remarkable season having rushed for 2,094 yards and 21 touchdowns.
If Hubbard does, in fact, boycott the season, it will not only diminish his Heisman odds, but it will also dramatically shift Oklahoma State’s odds to win the National Championship as well.
Their odds are currently at +5000 to win the National title.

With Hubbard sitting out, the Cowboys just do not have the depth to fill that hole and it would hurt their title odds as well. Those college football odds could change even more if Hubbard’s boycott spreads throughout the rest of the team as some other team members have already voiced their concerns on this matter as well.
Can Oklahoma State Move On?
The current situation on the Oklahoma State football team is still up in the air but it does look like Mike Gundy has made an effort of repairing that relationship with his players.
Chuba Hubbard released a video on his Twitter of himself and Gundy talking about the incident and even coming to terms with the sensitivity of the situation going on in today’s day.
Change is coming I promise you that. pic.twitter.com/wTGHtByh3N

This is a step in the right direction for Gundy and his team.
If both sides can move on and help make the change, it would not only shine a light on this dark situation but also shine a light on Oklahoma State's odds situation as well.
