All of these games take place on Sunday, May 2, and the earliest of them (Delaware Fighten' Blue Hens vs. Jacksonville State Game Cocks and North Dakota State Bison vs. Sam Houston State Bearkats) begin at 3:00 p.m. EST.

Let’s jump into the spreads and moneylines for all four matchups.

Delaware Hens vs. Jacksonville State Gamecocks Betting

Delaware enters this matchup as an underdog on the online sportsbooks to a solid Jacksonville State team that entered the playoffs as the fourth seed.

The moneyline sees Jacksonville State favored with -160 odds, while Delaware clock in with +140 odds to win the matchup.

Delaware struggled to defeat the Sacred Heart Pioneers in the previous round, while Jacksonville State absolutely dominated the Davidson Wildcats, winning 49-14.

The spread for this matchup is also fairly close, with Jacksonville State advantaged by only a small amount.

This could be a seriously compelling game, although the favorites are favored for a reason here - and might be good play on the spread as well.

North Dakota State Bison vs. Sam Houston State Bearkats Betting

North Dakota State vs. Sam Houston State is another matchup between an unseeded team and a seeded one, as Sam Houston holds the second seed.

Despite this discrepancy, the matchup itself looks to be quite even, according to the oddsmakers at the online sportsbooks.

The moneyline, in fact, favors North Dakota State over the seeded Sam Houston, after Sam Houston struggled with the Monmouth Hawks and NDSU dominated the Eastern Washington Eagles in the previous round.

The spread for this matchup sees NDSU favored, but only very slightly, with some shading on the NDSU -3.0 spread in the direction of Sam Houston State.

North Dakota Fighting Hawks vs. James Madison Dukes Betting

The third matchup of the day is also quite intriguing, in that it is yet another matchup with a point spread under -4.0.

North Dakota demolished Missouri State in the previous round to the tune of 44-10, while third-seeded James Madison struggled to defeat VMI, winning 31-24.

The moneyline in this matchup still favors James Madison, but only just, as they have -150 odds to win the game.

The spread gives James Madison their due as the favorites, but again, it’s very close, and North Dakota’s previous excellent performance should give James Madison bettors pause.

Southern Illinois vs. South Dakota State Betting

After three close matchups, the pattern couldn’t hold across all four games today - South Dakota State is set to demolish Southern Illinois.

SDSU entered the playoffs as the first seed, and have shown no signs of letting up, obliterating Holy Cross 31-3 in the previous round.

Southern Illinois, on the other hand, struggled to defeat Weber State, winning by a score of 34-31 - not exactly confidence-inspiring.

In light of that, the spread is particularly enormous on this matchup, even for a game with a -700 moneyline favorite.
