- The Golden State Warriors are slightly favored over the New Orleans Pelicans.
- Bryson DeChambeau has +135 odds to win his three ball betting group.
- Andrey Rublev has -345 odds to defeat Lorenzo Sonego.
LAS VEGAS - Welcome to the Daily Sports Betting Preview on this excellent Friday!
First up on the Preview, the Golden State Warriors are sitting pretty in the eighth seed, and looking to keep it that way against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Then, the PGA’s AT&T Byron Nelson features some excellent three ball betting opportunities.
Finally, Andrey Rublev takes on Lorenzo Sonego as ATP Rome continues.
There’s a lot to cover, so let’s get started!
NBA Betting
The Golden State Warriors are in the midst of making their case for team-nobody-wants-to-play-in-the-playoffs.
They beat the first seeded Utah Jazz, they beat the second seeded Phoenix Suns, they’ve won six of their last seven games and Steph Curry is going berserk.
One of those wins in their last seven games came against the New Orleans Pelicans, who the Warriors match up with on Friday night.
New Orleans Pelicans vs. Golden State Warriors Moneyline
- New Orleans Pelicans +115
- Golden State Warriors -135
The moneyline for this matchup is actually pretty close, especially considering that the Warriors are playing at home.
The Warriors are 23-11 straight up at home, which means they have a very good shot at taking down a Pelicans team that has a 13-22 road record.
Steph Curry and Draymond Green are listed as day-to-day on the Warriors’ injury report, so that’s one thing to keep in mind.
If Curry or Green miss the game, the Warriors could go from being favorites to being underdogs very quickly.
New Orleans Pelicans vs. Golden State Warriors Spread
- New Orleans Pelicans +2.0 (-110)
- Golden State Warriors -2.0 (-110)
The spread is similarly close, and the closeness of it likely reflects the lack of certainty around Curry and Green’s health for this game.
Put simply, the Warriors should easily come out ahead if both of them are healthy and playing, but if anything other than that is the case, the Pelicans have a very real shot.
NBA betting fans can catch this matchup at 9:30 p.m. EST on ESPN and NBA League Pass.
Golf Betting
The AT&T Byron Nelson presents some intriguing three ball betting opportunities to golf bettors around the globe.
Some of the best golfers in the world are going toe to toe in the Byron Nelson, and that means the three ball betting odds are hotly contested on the online sportsbooks.
2nd Round 3 Ball Betting
- Sergio Garcia +135
- Brooks Koepka +150
- Cameron Champ +275
Sergio Garcia and Brooks Koepka are both elite competitors, and they both have a very good shot at winning this three ball betting group.

Garcia slightly edges out Koepka on the golf betting odds boards, but Koepka could be a good value play at +150.
Poor Cameron Champ is stuck at the bottom of this three ball bracket, as both Garcia and Koepka exceed him in terms of expected outcomes.
2nd Round 3 Ball Betting
- Bryson DeChambeau +135
- Marc Leishman +200
- Sam Burns +200
Bryson DeChambeau is one of the best golfers in the world, and is constantly at the top of odds boards in pre-tournament betting.
On Day 2 of this tournament, he’s at the top of his three ball betting group with Marc Leishman and Sam Burns.
Leishman and Burns both have +200 odds to win the group, while DeChambeau sits alone at the top with +135 odds.
Golf bettors can follow along with the action in the Byron Nelson on the Golf Channel.
Tennis Betting
Andrey Rublev has made it through the round of 16 at ATP Rome to face off against Lorenzo Sonego in the quarter-finals.
Sonego, who took down Dominic Thiem in the round of 16, was not expected to make it this far.
Now, it’s Rublev in his sights, giving Sonego a chance to take down his third seeded player of the tournament.
Lorenzo Sonego vs. Andrey Rublev Moneyline
- Lorenzo Sonego +275
- Andrey Rublev -345
Rublev is a big favorite in this matchup, as he’s the higher ranked player, and would generally be expected to win against an opponent like Sonego.
Sonego is on an excellent run right now, however, and his defeat of Dominic Thiem in the round of 16 could presage great things for him..
Rublev has not been facing nobodies, however. He took down Roberto Batista Agut in straight sets in the round of 16, a tough ask from anyone.
The matchup between these two should be an exciting one, although Rublev is favored for a reason.
Given the run he is on, Sonego could be a decent moneyline play as an underdog, however.
Tennis betting fans can wager on this matchup when it starts at 1:00 p.m. EST, and it will be broadcast on the Tennis Channel.
Good luck!
