TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida State Seminoles will welcome the Notre Dame Fighting Irish into town on Sunday as the two face off to close out Week 1 of the college football season.

The Florida State Seminoles have been going through a bit of a rough patch since the start of the 2018 season. The team has rattled off three straight sub-.500 seasons and with a game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish to start the new campaign, online sportsbooks aren’t giving FSU a good shot to start the year with a win.

Notre Dame will have the Wisconsin transfer, Jack Coan, under center while FSU will have either McKenzie Milton or Jordan Travis running the show. With question marks over both quarterbacks, Notre Dame likely has the edge as an overall roster and should be able to cover the touchdown spread.
