Bob Baffert’s Horses
Bob Baffert has reached a deal with Preakness Stakes officials that will allow Medina Spirit to run in the Preakness. In response, online sportsbooks have listed Medina Spirit as the favorite.
Baffert has another horse in the race, Concert Tour, who many believe is a better horse than Medina Spirit, but is listed with +200 odds. Baffert won’t be in attendance but is expected to get another winner in one of the two horses.

The Rest Of The Field
Horse racing bettors should note that this is considered a weaker field than usual. Many of the top horses from the Kentucky Derby are not racing in the Preakness and the ones that are racing didn’t fare too well.
Those looking for a longshot may struggle to find a horse than can compete with the top horses in this race. Rombauer has competed well against some of the top horses and Ram is bred from American Pharoah, has won his last two races and could potentially make some magic happen, but right now it seems like it’s Concert Tour and Medina Spirit’s race to lose.
