KANSAS CITY – The 2023 NFL Draft is now in the past and online sportsbooks have shifted their odds for the 2023-24 Super Bowl conference winners and divisional winners. Eagles’ Draft Performance Helps Shorten SB58 Odds
Following the Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles have the second shortest Super Bowl odds at +750 at online sportsbooks in the US. Before the draft took place, the Eagles had the third shortest Super Bowl odds at +900 behind the San Francisco 49ers but plugged some defensive and offensive holes through their picks.
The Eagles did not only strengthen their defense by drafting DT Jalen Carter and LB Nolan Smith from UGA in the round but added running back depth through a trade with the Lions. The addition of D’Andre Swift helps to fill a void created by the departure of Miles Sanders.
During the 2022-23 season, the Eagles had the fifth most rushing yards by any team with over 2,500 and Swift will help maintain the run first mentality that brought Philly to Super Bowl 57. Only playing 14 games during the 2022 regular season, Swift recorded over 900 total yards for Detroit.

NFL sportsbooks have the Carolina Panthers tied with the second shorts odds to win the NFC South for the 2023-24 season with +300 odds. Carolina sent a message to the division this preseason by securing the number one pick in the draft and selecting Bryce Young.
