CHARLOTTE – Week 10 of the NFL season kicks off with a Thursday Night Football matchup between the Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons in which Atlanta is a slight 2.5-point favorite on the road.

While there is value betting on the gamelines here, online betting sites have plenty of player props to offer that have equal if not more value. Two players to eye in on with tremendous value on them are running backs, Cordarrelle Patterson and D’Onta Foreman.

Cordarrelle Patterson is deserving of a higher rushing yard total so the fact that Bovada set his NFL player prop odds even below 60 yards should have bettors running to the over. Before going on IR before Week 5, Patterson was third in the league in rushing yards having gone for two games of 120+ yards in the seasons first four games.

Now in his second game back from IR, he is met with a cupcake matchup against a Carolina Panthers rush defense that ranks as the fifth worst in the league letting up 139.3 yards per week to opposing running backs. Looking at the Panthers games this season, they’ve allowed six of nine opposing running backs to go over the 57.5 mark. Carolina is also coming off of their worst defensive performance of the season allowing Joe Mixon to go for 150+ yards and 4 touchdowns.

D’Onta Foreman Player Prop

D’Onte Foreman has been extremely efficient in the three games he has served as the RB1 for the Panthers since they traded away Christian McCaffrey, so it is unclear as to why his total rushing yards I set where they are. In two of the three games, Foreman has gone for exactly 118 rushing yards in which one of which came against the Falcons defense just two weeks ago.

The Falcons run defense has also allowed six of nine opposing rushers to go for over 55.5 yards this season. Given the explosiveness that he’s shown in the three games and the defense he is going up against, the over for his rushing total could be the smarter play.

Both Cordarrelle Patterson and D’Onta Foreman To Score A Touchdown

Although sitting at +400 odds, these could be the most likely odds to cash of all the parlayed player specials given each of their usage in the redzone this season. Starting with Patterson, even with his injury and all, he has 15 redzone rushing attempts on the season from which he has scored 5 touchdowns. As for Foreman, he has a total of 13 redzone rushing attempts in which he has converted to three touchdowns that all came in the three games that he has been the starter.

Juicing up the odds here, even more, are that both rushing defenses are in the bottom ten in the league in redzone rushing touchdowns allowed this season with the Falcons letting up 11 to Carolina’s 9.
