Without Moore though, these numbers are sure to see an increase as well as he was responsible for 4.8 rpg.

As for their March Madness odds to win, this could be the tough part being that the reality of the situation is that they are missing a key offensive player in Moore where Kansas could look to take advantage of the missing piece. However, if Villanova could come together and fill the gaps correctly and effectively, they could be looking at winning a close one.

Although sitting with the shortest of the three odds, this has a strong possibility of happening. Martin, the Arizona State transfer, has recorded 5 or more assists in a game four times this season which the Jayhawks won all four of those games.

While he has not done so since late January, his numbers have been solid throughout the Big 12 Tournament and March Madness. In those seven games, he has recorded four assists on three occasions.

Something else worth noting is that the Jayhawks leading passer, Dajuan Harris, has been in a slump in the assist category going for three or fewer assists in four of their last five games.

Also, Martin has seen his minutes increase drastically going from less than 20 minutes per game in their last five regular-season games to 20+ throughout March Madness which has caused his assist numbers to increase.

With the odds already in favor of the Jayhawks to win, it is up to Martin to continue streaking in the assist category and pick up the slack from Harris.
