- The Potato Bowl has Tulane as a 2.5-point favorite over Nevada.
- The Boca Raton Bowl sees Brigham Young as a six-point favorite over UCF.
- Juventus has -250 odds to defeat Fiorentina on the three-way moneyline.
LAS VEGAS - Welcome to this Tuesday edition of the Daily Sports Betting Preview!
Today’s Preview starts off with an examination of Tuesday’s two bowl games - the Potato Bowl and the Boca Raton Bowl. Then, the Preview takes a look at a Serie A matchup between Juventus and Fiorentina.
Finally, the KeSPA Cup brings League of Legends action to the early morning, which means bettors should get their wagers in now.
There’s a lot to cover, so let’s get started!
Bowl Game Betting
There are two bowl games set to start today, as the Bowl season starts to swing into action. In the Potato Bowl, Tulane is set to take on Nevada, which will be the first of the Bowls on the schedule.
Tulane vs. Nevada - Potato Bowl
- Tulane -135
- Nevada +115
The oddsmakers have Tulane as a very mild moneyline favorite, and the spread is similarly close.
Tulane vs. Nevada - Potato Bowl
- Tulane -2.5 (-110)
- Nevada +2.5 (-110)
A 2.5 point spread is one of those spreads that is difficult to really get a read on - purposefully so, on the part of the oddsmakers. This is exacerbated by the fact that the O/U line for this matchup is set at a whopping 57.0 points.
A game with an O/U line that high, to be separated by only 2.5 points on the spread? This one could clearly go either way.
UCF vs. BYU - Boca Raton Bowl
- UCF +195
- BYU -235
UCF is set to have what could be something like a home game in this bowl, which takes place in FAU’s stadium in Boca Raton, Florida. However, that’s not enough to see them to favored odds on the moneyline, and the spread is decently in favor of their opponents, BYU.
UCF vs. BYU - Boca Raton Bowl
- UCF +6.0 (-105)
- BYU -6.0 (-115)
The highlight of this matchup will likely be BYU quarterback Zach Wilson, who is expected to move to the NFL after this game.
Wilson, a Junior, completed 73% of his passes for over 3200 yards this season, and racked up a whopping 10.9 yards per pass attempt.
This matchup could very well come down to him, as BYU are favored by a little under a touchdown. Both of these bowl games are very solid college football betting opportunities, and well worth taking a look at.
Serie A Betting
Serie A plays host to a solid matchup today as Juventus gets set to take on Fiorentina.
Juventus vs. Fiorentina
- Juventus -250
- Fiorentina +700
- Draw +400
Juventus enters this matchup in third place in Serie A, although they have yet to take a loss in the league this year. Their record consists of seven wins, six draws and zero losses.
The only other team with zero losses in the league this year is first place AC Milan.
Fiorentina, meanwhile, is scraping just outside of the relegation zone, at 16th place in the league. They have acquired two wins, five draws and six losses in their thirteen domestic games played this season. Given this information, the three way moneyline being as lopsided as it is should not come as a surprise.
Juventus vs. Fiorentina - No Draw Moneyline
- Juventus -800
- Fiorentina +450
On the no draw moneyline, Juventus moves from a -250 favorite to a -800 favorite, while Fiorentina sees their odds shorten from +700 to +450.

As always, we can compare the three way moneyline odds to each team’s odds -0.5 by using alternate lines. Juventus on the three way moneyline has -250 odds, while Juventus -0.5, effectively the same wager, has -290 odds.
Thus, Juventus wagerers should stick to the three way moneyline over the alternate spread.
Unfortunately, there is no alternate spread equivalent to the no draw moneyline that we are aware of.

KeSPA Cup Betting
The KeSPA Cup is one of the premier Korean League of Legends tournaments, and some of the best teams in the world will be competing in it.
For the purposes of this preview, we’ll look at the games set to be played by World Champions DAMWON Gaming. DAMWON is set to play two games, one against Afreeca Freecs, and one against Sandbox Gaming.
DAMWON vs. Sandbox
- DAMWON -750
- Sandbox +400
DAMWON are expected to be favorites in most of their matches - they are, after all, the world champions - but these are some very lopsided odds.
The game is projected to have 26.5 kills in it, and the spread on those kills favors DAMWON by 9.5.
It is worth noting that while kills do tend to track with which team is winning the game, the fact that gold and buffs can be accrued from objectives like Drake and Baron means that they are not a perfect indicator of dominance.
For this reason, it might be a good idea to stay away from the kill spreads and totals.
DAMWON vs. Afreeca Freecs
Afreeca Freecs are a known team, and will present a bit more of a challenge to the world champions. That said, the sportsbooks don’t seem to think it will be that much more of a challenge.
DAMWON vs. Afreeca Freecs
- DAMWON -500
- Afreeca Freecs +305
This matchup is slightly closer than the first, but DAMWON is once again expected to win heavily. The spread and O/U lines on this matchup are for kills, which again are not exactly a direct indicator of skill.
In the World Finals, DAMWON showed great ability to win games through map control and objective taking, as opposed to simply winning team fights.
League of Legends betting fans might want to stay away from the kill O/U’s and spreads, as tempting as they may seem.
