NBA Playoff Betting Preview: Celtics vs. Raptors & Clippers vs. Nuggets

• The Toronto Raptors are -1 favorites on the spread over the Boston Celtics.

ORLANDO, Fla. - The NBA Playoffs continue on Saturday with two games of varying quality.

First, the Boston Celtics take on the Toronto Raptors, in a series that sees Boston up 2-1. Last game ended in one of the most unpredictable ways. Will it happen again?

Then, the Denver Nuggets face off against the Los Angeles Clippers, and folks, the Nuggets are in trouble.

Boston Celtics vs. Toronto Raptors

Game 3 of this series was an absolute nail biter. The Celtics, who are clearly the more talented team, had a chance to put this series away.

Kyle Lowry stole that chance from them with one of the best inbounds passes of all time.

OG Anunoby canned the triple, and the rest was history - the Raptors are back in this series.

The Celtics were upset with themselves, to say the least.

Jaylen Brown was quoted in USA Today saying, of the Celtics defense:

"It's a (expletive) disgrace at the end of the game…That was just terrible. No way we should have lost that game. I take responsibility for that. Not just that play, but a lot of the plays before. It happens. It's the NBA playoffs.”

The Celtics are still up 2-1, and they seem determined. The Raptors, meanwhile, finally have some life.

Pascal Siakam is still the biggest question mark in the series. The Raptors star has been anything but visible, and he needs to show up big if they want to win this game, let alone this series.

The Raptors are favorites by the smallest of margins, one point on the spread, and a couple ticks on the moneyline.

This could be a series-defining game, and NBA bettors should keep both eyes on it.

Denver Nuggets vs. Los Angeles Clippers

This is, perhaps, the least interesting of the remaining playoff series’. The Nuggets just got off of a seven-game round one series against the Utah Jazz. The Clippers are roaring into form.

The odds, then, should come as no surprise.

The Clippers game to game odds are the longest odds on any team remaining in the playoffs. Even the Los Angeles Lakers, the one seed in the West, have longer odds to win their games.

Nobody else is even close - this looks like the most lopsided series in the playoffs, although the Miami Heat might beg to differ.

The series prices on this one are equally bonkers.
