Tuesday MLB Bets: Dodgers Look For Revenge Against Astros

HOUSTON – The MLB is off and running into its first full week of action with 22 teams facing off in 12 games across the country on Tuesday.

Additionally, no team has gone winless so far, meaning the largest gap from first to last in any division is just two games.

While some might have forgotten about the Astros’ transgressions, the Dodgers certainly have not. The Astros beat the Dodgers in the 2017 World Series, directly in the midst of the time they were actively cheating.

While the Astros looked impressive in their first series, it was against a Seattle Mariners club that has some glaring weaknesses.

The Dodgers delayed the start of ace Walker Buehler so he could face off against the ‘Stros in his first start of the season. After dropping two in a row to the Giants, the Dodgers have plenty of anger they are ready to take out in Houston.

The Toronto Blue Jays have looked dangerous so far in 2020 but their biggest question remains their pitching depth. The Jays trot out Tanner Roark tonight who will be looking to make an important first impression.

The defending champion Washington Nationals are looking to regroup after their first series and will be putting Austin Voth out on the mound Tuesday.

Both teams have firepower, but with Bo Bichette out for the Jays, this win will likely come down to the performance of Voth for the Nationals.

After trouncing the New York Mets in primetime Sunday night, the Atlanta Braves got to feel the other side of the glove in a 14-5 loss Monday at the hands of the Tampa Bay Rays.

Calling the Rays underrated became so cliché in 2019 to the point that they might actually be being overlooked once again. While the oddsmakers are wise to the Rays’ success, the public still isn’t aware of the actual talent that is brewing in Tampa – talent like newly-learned switch hitter Ji Man Choi.

The Braves will be trotting out youngster Kyle Wright Tuesday night, who has received positive attention as a prospect but remains largely unpolished.

However, betting on Ronald Acuna Jr., Freddie Freeman, and co. to lose two in a row is always risky, considering their potency at any given moment.
