MINNEAPOLIS – The Minnesota Vikings offseason took a bit of a turn as running back Dalvin Cook told the team he will not report to any team activities until he receives a new contract.
Cook is currently in the last year of his rookie deal and will only cost the Vikings $1.3 million this year.
Pro-Bowl RB Dalvin Cook no longer will participate in any team-related activities until and unless he receives a “reasonable” deal, a source said Monday.

The former Florida State Seminole ran for 1,135 yards which was the 10th most in the NFL in a season ago. Add in the 13 touchdowns and it’s clear that Cook has played well above his price tag despite his lengthy injury history.
